Do you ever think of going home? Now that I am away from my hometown of San Antonio, I often think of what it will be like when I return home. Construction will hopefully be completed on the highways, the new housing developments will be surprising to see, and the people I see will all be different. My mom and dad will be older even though I still picture what they looked like when I was 10, my brother will not be the same guy that I knew when we used to stay up late and play video games, and who knows when I might be able to see my friends. Things will just be different. Still, home is the place in our hearts where we feel we can go to and all will be okay with the world. When the bills stack up and the job gets stressful it is a bit of relief to remember home. Just think about the way mom used to make your favorite food, and dad used to go outside and play football, why wouldn’t anyone want to be a kid again if even just for a moment?
