What a time we have had these last few weeks, huh? It has been full of celebrity deaths. Michael Jackson, of course, headlined the news over all others. Let me start off by saying that while his life may have continued in a downward spiral, all we can hope is that he knew Christ. I’ll admit, I’ve had a little trouble trying to “honor” his life for his talent and contribution to music. I have a lot of work to do to become Christ-like in this area, but I have to be honest and say that it is hard to not think about the odd mentality of Michael Jackson (and others like him) and the cases that were brought against him. Please pray for me to look past sins or potential sins of others and love the person as Jesus did and still does. Thank you for bearing with me, I had to get that out of the way.
